"Gravitational" maps the physics of attraction. Two masses exist in the same white space without touching — a warm sand form at the upper right, a dense black mass at the lower left. And between them, everything is tension. The calligraphic lines crossing the canvas are not decoration; they are force lines, the invisible geometry that exists between every two bodies affecting each other. Silver washes wrap the edges like clouds. Ink drips mark the path of what has already moved. Are they approaching or receding — the painting doesn't say. This ambiguity is the subject of the work.
