Enquiring about a work
A practical guide to asking about price, dimensions, images and several works in one enquiry.
How can I find out the price?
Use the enquiry form on the artwork page. The work’s title and catalogue code are included in your request. Price and current availability are shared through this contact. A work appearing on the website does not establish that it is currently available; please ask about its status.
Can I ask about several works together?
Save the works, then send one request from Saved works. Name the pieces you are comparing so each question can be matched to the right work. Saving does not make a purchase or reserve a painting. The list is linked to your browser session and may not be available on another device.
Where can I find dimensions and materials?
Each artwork page lists the available year, medium and dimensions. If dimensions are missing, ask through the form instead of estimating them. If you have a particular wall or space in mind, you can include its measurements. Questions about framing, placement or delivery can be included in the same request.
Do room images show an actual installation?
Images labelled as room presentations are illustrative views intended to help you imagine a work in a setting. They do not establish exact scale, a real installation or what framing is included. Refer to the catalogue dimensions when considering the work. You can also ask whether additional surface or detail images are available.
What should my message include?
Your name, an email address for a reply and your questions are a useful starting point. An enquiry opened from an artwork page already includes the work. On the general contact form, add its title or catalogue code. Questions about price, materials, dimensions or differences between several works can be brought together in one message.
Which form should I use for press or exhibitions?
Choose the relevant subject in the same contact form. For press, include the publication, requested image and deadline. For an exhibition, the venue, proposed dates and project scope are helpful. The press kit contains short and extended biographies, a portrait and links to artwork details. Specify any request for image permission and photo credits.
What happens after I send the form?
A successful submission displays a reference number, which you can keep for follow-up. If the request was saved but its email notification could not be sent, the message will say so; you do not need to submit it again. If an error appears, follow the on-screen instructions. An enquiry is not a sale or reservation confirmation.
